Bottom line

This is a fragrance-free cosmetic-firming booster with humectants, silicones, sodium hyaluronate, pullulan, and firming-positioned ingredients that support a smoother, tighter-looking surface. The brand’s small compensated perception study is not scientific proof of structural lifting, so the Premium value depends on how much the immediate finish matters to the shopper.

What is Shopper Fit?

Shopper Fit shows who The Beauty Briefing finds the product is reasonably suited for after reviewing the complete formula or product design, product format, expected performance, directions, tolerability, usability, and available evidence.

Depending on the product category, Shopper Fit may reflect factors such as skin type, hair or scalp characteristics, product needs, routine compatibility, sensitivity, experience level, or practical use considerations.

Shopper Fit is BB's editorial product-fit assessment, not a copy of the brand's marketing. It is not a diagnosis, a guarantee of results or tolerance, or a claim that the product is suitable for everyone.

What are Shopper Preferences?

Shopper Preferences are product attributes The Beauty Briefing has enough evidence to treat as established for the exact product. A brand statement, badge, or retailer claim alone is not enough.

Vegan
BB found sufficient documentation to verify the vegan claim within the documented product scope.
Cruelty-Free
BB found sufficient documentation to verify the cruelty-free claim within the scope of the evidence reviewed.
Non-Comedogenic
BB found sufficient product-specific evidence or documentation to support the non-comedogenic claim. A brand claim by itself does not qualify.
Dermatologist-Tested
BB verified documentation showing the exact product was tested with dermatologist involvement. This does not mean dermatologist-recommended.
Ophthalmologist-Tested
BB verified documentation showing the exact product was tested with ophthalmologist involvement.
Hypoallergenic
BB found sufficient product-specific evidence or documentation to support the hypoallergenic claim. It does not guarantee that no shopper will react.
None Found
BB did not find sufficient evidence to verify any of the controlled Shopper Preferences for the exact product.

Brand marketing tells BB what to investigate. BeautyBrief tells the shopper what BB has established.

Beverly Hills MD Lift + Firm Booster is a fragrance-free gel-serum built around glycerin, dimethicone, dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, sodium hyaluronate, pullulan, honey-locust seed extract, and supporting film-forming polymers.[1]

The formula has a credible cosmetic-firming story: hydration, silicone smoothing, and film formation can make skin look temporarily tighter and smoother. The evidence is much weaker for true lifting or deeper structural remodeling.

What it claims

The brand says the booster helps sagging skin look firmer and more lifted, reduces the look of wrinkles and crepey lines, and gives the neck, chin, and jawline a tighter, more defined appearance.[1]

The brand also reports that 100% of participants in a 12-week study of 15 women said their skin appeared firmer and smoother and felt tighter and younger-looking.[1] The same page states that participants were compensated and that this was not a scientific study, so those results are best treated as perception data rather than objective proof of lifting.

Claims vs. formula

Glycerin, dimethicone, and sodium hyaluronate support hydration, slip, and temporary surface smoothing.[1] Pullulan and other film-forming polymers add a plausible immediate-tightening mechanism because they form a thin film as the product dries.[2]

Dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline adds a longer-term firming rationale, but the evidence is indirect. A published 12-week study of a different multi-ingredient treatment serum that included dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline reported improvements in wrinkles and firmness, but the formula contained many other active ingredients and the study cannot isolate the effect of dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline or predict this Beverly Hills MD product’s performance.[3]

Ingredients that matter

Glycerin: High in the formula and central to the booster’s humectant support.

Dipalmitoyl Hydroxyproline: Adds a firming and conditioning rationale, but available evidence does not isolate its effect in this finished product.

Sodium Hyaluronate: Adds water-binding support and temporary surface plumping.

Pullulan: A film-forming polysaccharide that can contribute to a temporary tightening and smoothing effect as the formula dries.[2]

Gleditsia Triacanthos Seed Extract: Part of the brand’s Inst’Tight C positioning and relevant to the immediate firming story, while finished-product structural lifting remains unproven.

Glycerin

Glycerin is a well-supported humectant that helps skin hold water and improve dryness. It is common and effective, so the complete formula matters more than a high percentage.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a well-supported humectant for surface hydration. Molecular weight and the complete formula matter more than the number of HA forms advertised.

Dimethicone

Dimethicone is a well-supported silicone emollient and skin-protecting ingredient that improves slip, smoothness, and surface comfort. Its real moisture benefit depends on the complete moisturizer or skin-protectant formula.

What to expect in the short term

Expect hydration, silicone slip, smoother-looking texture, and some temporary tautness after the product sets. The brand directs twice-daily use and says the booster can be mixed into another serum or applied directly to clean, dry skin.[1]

What to expect over time

Continued use can maintain hydration and surface smoothness. The brand’s 12-week panel suggests some users perceive firmer-looking skin, but the public evidence does not establish a durable structural lift or remodeling effect from this finished booster.

Who it fits

Dry, normal, combination, and oily skin can use the lightweight booster when the goal is added hydration and cosmetic firmness. The formula is fragrance-free, but shoppers who dislike silicone-forward textures may prefer a simpler serum.

Compare before you buy

Compared with a basic hyaluronic-acid serum, Lift + Firm Booster adds film formers and firming-positioned ingredients that can make the surface look tighter. At the Premium tier, however, the main value is the immediate cosmetic-firming effect and concentrated booster format rather than evidence of deeper lifting.

Final assessment

Lift + Firm Booster is best understood as a polished cosmetic-firming serum that combines hydration, silicone smoothing, and film formation for visible surface tautness. The brand’s small compensated perception study supports user-noticed improvement but not structural lifting, so shoppers paying at the Premium tier should value the immediate finish rather than expect retinoid-level remodeling or procedural-style lift.
