AMPERNA Launches DERMAFIX Scalp & Hair Care Serum

AMPERNA has launched Scalp & Hair Care Serum [DERMAFIX], a 50 mL scalp treatment positioned around hydration, barrier support, and microbiome-friendly care. The product is now available through the brand’s site, which also ships to the United States.[1][2][3]

The microbiome language is what makes the launch notable. Marketing targets scalp comfort and moisture—not dandruff, dermatitis, hair loss, or another scalp condition.

What launched

DERMAFIX is a lightweight scalp serum designed for overnight use or as a pre-wash treatment. AMPERNA says it is intended to support hydration, the scalp barrier, and a balanced scalp microbiome while helping dry, stressed, or sensitive scalps feel more comfortable.[1][2]

The brand directs shoppers to apply the serum to the scalp with the dropper, massage it in, and leave it on overnight or before shampooing.[2]

Why it matters

Scalp serums are starting to borrow facial skincare words, including barrier support, prebiotics, postbiotics, antioxidants, and microbiome care.

AMPERNA itself states that its products are cosmetic only and are not intended to treat, cure, or prevent disease or skin conditions.[1] That makes the product easier to judge on practical terms: moisture, comfort, tolerability, and whether it adds something useful to a scalp-care routine.

What we know

The ingredient list includes alpha-glucan oligosaccharide, glycerin, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, Lactobacillus, tocopheryl acetate, and additional emollient, botanical, and formula-support ingredients.[2]

That gives the formula a reasonable hydration and conditioning story. It does not prove that the finished serum changes the scalp microbiome or improves hair growth.

AMPERNA describes the serum as microbiome friendly, vegan, cruelty-free, suitable for sensitive scalps, and dermatologically tested. The launch and product pages do not provide finished-product clinical results, measured microbiome outcomes, or comparative testing showing that DERMAFIX performs better than a simpler scalp moisturizer or serum.[1][2]

What we’re watching

BB will be watching for evidence behind the microbiome and sensitive-scalp claims, along with stable U.S. availability and U.S.-specific pricing.

The practical question is whether DERMAFIX offers enough improvement in scalp comfort and hydration to justify adding another leave-on step. The microbiome story is interesting, but the finished formula still has to earn its place.
